Bands With New Music

Hot Club de Paris are writing their third record. They've uploaded four new songs at Myspace.com/hotclubdeparis, but they're actually from the 2nd album - they just haven't been on Myspace before. The songs added are: 'I Wasn't Being Heartless When I Said Your Favourite Song Lacked Heart', which is very boncey, 'Boy Awaits Return of The Runaway Girl' and 'Let Go of Everything', which aren't anything magnificent, and 'For the Parties Past and Present', which is very summery.

You can stream Franz Ferdinand's new album at Myspace.com/franzferdinand. Excellent stuff.

You can preview The View's new album at Last.fm/music/The+View/Which+Bitch%3F?autostart. It's quite like 'Hats Off To The Buskers' really, but perhaps a bit heavier and dirtier in some ways. Look out for a live review and possible interview with The View soon at Myspace.com/_youvedonethiswrong.

Bands With Videos

White Lies have got a load of videos. There's footage of them performing 'To Lose My Life' as part of their Live Lounge set at BBC.co.uk/radio1/livelounge/artist/090114_whitelies.shtml, a short introductory film entitled 'To Lose My Life 4Play' at Uk.youtube.com/watch?v=11EJMFdSdGI&NR=1, which is very lyrical and quite eery at times; and here's a track by track commentary of their debut album:
