Hadouken! Signing & Camden Crawl Video

Hadouken! are doing a signing at HMV on Market Street on bank holiday Monday (5th May) at 4.30pm. The band will be doing a short performance in the basement before signing copies of their debut album. It doesn't look like you need wristbands or anything.

They've also got their Camden Crawl footage up on YouTube, which doesn't have a lot to it, but does feature some amusing crowd footage:

Hadouken! Previews And Tour Preparation

There's a new album track clip on Myspace.com/hadoukenuk called 'CRANK IT UP'.
The first 1 minute and 7 seconds of it are pretty good. It sounds like they're moving back towards the sound of the original demos that won them such acclaim so long ago - far more exciting than a few recent singles. They seem to have a knack for borrowing their own material in a way that doesn't sound like their out of ideas (the lyric, "crank it up", being obviously reminiscent of "fuck shit up", from 'The Bounce', and the use of the same guitar rhythm on new single, 'Declaration Of War' as debut release, 'That Boy That Girl'). The band played 'Crank It Up' on the Europe tour and it's now their favorite live track, which they reckon will be massive on the UK tour.
In preparation for said tour, Hadouken! are in rehearsal rooms learning to use a load of new gear and working on tracks. They're set to play their longest set yet, featuring all the old songs for those that know their stuff as well as new tracks from the album.

Star In Courteeners' Video

The Courteeners are looking for people to star in the video for their next single, 'No You Didn't, No You Don't'. It's unclear what sort of role you'll have, but I imagine you'll just be part of a carefully selected and well dressed crowd. It'll be shot in Manchester on Tuesday 29th April and if you would like to be in it you can email info@pulsefilms.co.uk, attaching a recent photograph along with your age, telephone number and clothing sizes.

Pigeon Detectives Album

This is what The Pigeon Detectives' second album, 'Emergency', will look like:

5. I'll Be Waiting
6. She's Gone

8. I'm A Liar
9. You Don't Need It
10. Say It Like You Mean It
11. Love You For A Day (Hate You For A Week)
12. Making Up Numbers
13. Everybody Wants Me

Ting Tings at Habbo Hotel

Habbo Hotel is like a kids' version of Second Life, but free and not quite as weird. You basically make your own little character and wander around playing games, buying furniture and rooms and talking to fellow users. Anyway, on Monday 28th April at 3pm, The Ting Tings will be dropping by there to chat to everybody and answer questions. You can sign up at Habbohotel.co.uk.

Cajun Dance Party Album Previews And Fansites

You can listen to the first minute of every song on Cajun Dance Party's debut album, 'The Colourful Life' by going to Cajundanceparty.com/releases and clicking the little pink speaker next to each track. I still reckon 'The Race' and 'The Next Untouchable' are the best tracks.

The band will also be launching a fansite via Cajundanceparty.com/fansite. You can create a profile, join in, start discussions, and get exclusive news first by clicking 'Fansite'.
