Load. Click. Shoot! have uploaded two new songs ('Batteries Not Included' and 'Mention No Names') at Myspace.com/loadclickshoot.
They were recorded live with no overdubbing and there has been a bit of mixing done on them. The band have said "we are going to take them into our lair and remix them ourselves and put them out sometime as part of a very special split with a very special band! Let us know what you think, if you hate them, or like them, or any suggestions! We will be adding lots more synth noise and nice vocals!"
The live recording approach certainly comes across, and packs the tracks with energy. 'Batteries Not Included' has a good organ sound on it and sounds sort of ..questioning. 'Mention No Names' does the whole call and response shouting thing and is more rough and guitar based.

Found On Film
This is a video of Mirror! Mirror!'s performance at Hare and Hounds on 22nd June. It's probably one of those times when you really had to be there to appreciate it fully, but it's alright if you let it load for a bit.
Cold War Kids have posted a studio video up on the front page of their website, Coldwarkids.com. They're sounding as good a ever, and evidently record with proper tapes.
