Bands With Videos

We Are Scientists have a video advent calendar this year, uploading a new video each week of December, "Each as funny or funnier or a little less funny than the last. These videos will deal with religion, the current economic downturn, war in the Middle East, abortion rights, race, sexuality, class, and epistemology, so try not to miss very many." The first one's up now:



This is another studio update from The Maccabees, and the video has snippets of songs:
"So we're nearly done in Paris, and here is another little video diary of bits of our recording, as always carefully edited by Hugo. Don't worry, not all of the takes you see will end up on the record! We're real close to finishing the songs. Just making sure, to quote Markus, that it doesn't sound like 'a load of housewives making bread' or that we're not 'leaving too many wet fish flapping on dry land'. What any of that actually means is a bit of a mystery. It's all cake, sun-dried tomatoes and American Office in our spare time.
