The Courteeners Signing
For some reason The Courteeners are doing a signing at midnight on Sunday (6th April) at the big HMV, Market Street.
It's a wristband only event, so you'll have to pick them up (one per customer, in person only) from HMV Manchester, 90 Market Street from 11.00am on Sunday.
They'll be performing and signing copies of their debut album, St. Jude.

Milburn split
Milburn didn't have a lot of fans, but the ones they did have were certainly loyal. Here's a statement:
"It may not come as a great surprise to many of you but unfortunately after much consideration we’ve decided that Milburn has run it's course. There’s been no malice or falling out between us and we still remain friends and supporters of each other as we move on and explore new musical horizons. Not everyone in the music media understood us but you the fans did and over the last 2-3 years we’ve shared some amazing experiences that we’ll never forget and we feel very privileged to have done so. We want to sincerely thank everyone of you that supported us along the way. It's been overwhelming. For this reason we’d like to play one last gig. There’s also a few songs left over from the second album that we’re going to make available. The songs are "The District Line" and "Stay At Home". The gig will take place on 24th May at Sheffield Academy."
'The District Line' and 'Stay At Home' are available for free from here (right click, save as after following link).
