Bands With New Songs

Cold War Kids have uploaded 'Something Is Not Right With Me' at Myspace.com/coldwarkids. It's chanty and sounds a bit more like U2 than their older stuff, but the vocal's still got that something.

Copycats have uploaded an improved version of 'Suns Son' at Myspace.com/wearecopycats. It's sounding good and sparkly.

Bests And Worsts From Load. Click. Shoot!

Load. Click. Shoot! "had the BEST time at truck fest this weekend, thanks to everyone who took a risk and came to watch us so early on saturday! It was super duper fun and we met some lovely people who made us feel like a proper band!"
They managed to learn that "we can't pitch tents successfully in the pitch black, that free strongbow is amazing, that constant burger eating brings on hallucinations and that So So Modern/Johnny Foreigner and These New Puritans should be ruling the world by now!" - some advice, perhaps, for festival goers.

After what sounds like a triumphant weekend, the band's performance at London's 93 Feet East on Monday didn't run quite as smoothly, as "everything broke". Things are looking up for Offset Festival at the end of August though, hopefully featuring some new equipment.

Taxidermy Video

This is [Roary of Test Icicles/Rat:Att:Agg fame's new band] Kasms' video for 'Taxidermy'. It's performance slash violence in the woods.

What The Fuck Do You Want Me To Write About?

John & Jehn have posted a new blog at Makeyourmumbeproud.blogspot.com entitled 'What The Fuck Do You Want Me To Write About?'. It was written by journalist, Alex Marshall, and basically gives an idea about the in-progress album and what they think about it, after a short story of relationship battles.
