Hadouken!'s 'Aerials'

Now I'm not the world's biggest Hadouken! fan, but this got my attention. It seems that if you pre-order their new album in limited box set form with a picture book and the possibility of it being signed, you also get yourself a year's membership to something they are, for some reason, calling 'Aerials". Basically you get free tickets to fan club gigs and their own festival (which is intriguing), priority on normal tours and a pile of limited edition merchandise and rare tracks.
This sounds like a pretty good deal, particularly if, like me, you can't resist free stuff, but for £24, an incomprehensible amount of money to one as poor as myself, it's difficult to see anyone who isn't a major groupie going for it. An interesting attempt at distracting the illegal downloaders, but it seems unlikely that pre-ordering will be much of a hit with a generation growing up with free and instant music.
